After you complete the wizard, your writing profile exists but hasn't been tested yet. The Profile Sandbox is where you test and tune it before committing to real drafts.
The sandbox lets you give the AI a topic and generate a short draft using only your writing profile. There's no research pass, no outline review — just the profile applied to a topic, quickly, so you can assess whether the output reads like you.
The workflow is:
- Give the sandbox a topic
- Read the output — does it sound like you?
- If not, identify what's off: is it the tone, the structure, the vocabulary, the way it opens?
- Adjust the relevant section of your writing profile
- Regenerate and assess again
- Repeat until the output reads authentically
When you're satisfied, you approve the profile changes, and they become your live writing profile.
Sandbox runs are unlimited during the trial period and do not count against your daily draft limit. This distinction matters. Your trial gives you one real draft per day, and re-drafting is not available — once you run the pipeline on a piece of content, that's your draft for the day. The sandbox exists specifically so you can iterate without spending that quota.
The sandbox is fast and inexpensive to run. There's no cost to iterating five, ten, or fifteen times in the sandbox before you feel the profile is right. Most users who rush past this step and go straight to real drafts spend their daily quota on output they have to heavily rewrite. Most users who tune carefully in the sandbox reach a near-zero edit rate after a few rounds of iteration.
Do not skip the sandbox.
